Bitrue cryptocurrency exchange falls victim to $24m exploit

Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue suffered a hacking attack that resulted in a loss of about $24.4 million.

The company said only one hot wallet, which contained 5% of the exchange's total funds, was affected. The other wallets were not affected or compromised.
