Greece says it will give up on Russian gas
Greece will accelerate gas exploration projects with private investors, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said. The country is reducing its dependence on Russian energy and aims to become an energy hub in Europe.
"Accelerating the exploitation of the country's national energy resources will allow us, if we are lucky enough to have exploitable natural gas fields, to increase our energy independence, our energy security," the prime minister said.
