Russian oil disappears from the radar - Bloomberg
Tougher sanctions against Russian maritime exports of oil products have had some interesting consequences. In the last 10 days at least 3 tankers with Russian oil have disappeared from the radar tracking systems in the area of the Azores. Probably the oil just goes to other ships.
The agency believes that Asian consumers are trying to hide the fact that they are buying Russian oil in order to avoid being hit by retaliatory sanctions from the US. That is why oil has been "confidentially" transshipped to other ships much more frequently lately than before.
