Switzerland has frozen more than $9 billion worth of Russian assets as part of sanctions
This was reported by the Swiss newspaper Neue Zuercher Zeitung.
Also today Switzerland imposed further sanctions against Russia. They include a ban on imports of coal, timber, cement, seafood and caviar.
In addition, trust funds for Russian citizens or residents can no longer be registered in Switzerland.
