UK central bank seeks new head of CBDC department

The UK Treasury has published  a vacancy on Linkedin. The Treasury is looking for someone to head the CBDC department.

According to the vacancy, the head will lead a team of around 20 people. The team will be looking at the potential of CBDC, finding ways to integrate it into the UK financial system and developing a practical mechanism for doing so.
