EU GDP rose 0.8% in the second quarter, up from 0.5% in the previous quarter - above the 0.6% forecast

Employment also rose 0.4%, up 2.7% year over year.

The EU economy is very strong at this point in time.

Because of the increase in employment, total personal income is rising and inflation is accelerating.

The EU needs to raise rates quickly to fight inflation.
