France's nuclear power industry may suffer due to drought - Bloomberg

The likelihood of reduced output at some nuclear reactors in the summer is due to the fact that the drought reduces the amount of river water available for cooling.

Reduced power production, which has already occurred at one plant several times in June, will add to the strain on Europe's power supply. France will likely have to increase energy exports because of this as well.
