FTX buys up brokerage startups

FTX buys up brokerage startups

Prior to the launch of stock trading and ETFs, the crypto exchange FTX showed interest in brokerage startups and began negotiating to buy them.

The terms and final amount are not yet known. According to unconfirmed reports, the companies in question are Webull, Apex Clearing and PublicCom.

Also FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was named one of the top 100 influential people by TIME. Notably, this is the only person in the ranking associated with the crypto industry.
