Has Apple realized that $3,500 for VR glasses is too much?

According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple plans to release a cheaper version of the Vision Pro augmented reality glasses, which it presented at WWDC 2023. The budget version will retain the main features: the gaze tracking system and hand movements.

The wait could turn out to be a bit of a problem for Apple. The expensive nature of the headset, as well as the possibility to buy a cheaper version in the future may discourage potential buyers.
