Landlords are trying to evict tenants and register new ones at much higher prices, with the number of lawsuits filed against tenants doubling, Sozcu reported.
"In the past three months we have seen fights, threats, intimidation and lawsuits. Both the landlord and the tenant are right, both struggling to make a living," the head of Istanbul's association of realtors.
