Holders of Russian Eurobonds purchased through foreign banks faced problems when receiving coupon payments. Not only funds of residents of "unfriendly" countries, but also of Russian citizens were reserved in special accounts.

According to the analysts' estimates, several thousand Russians could have faced this problem. The problem could be solved by the issuers redeeming their own issues of Eurobonds, according to the interviewed analysts.
