Twitter intends to sue Musk soon after canceling a $44 billion deal. The social network wants to compel the billionaire to complete the deal and has hired the law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz LLP to do so.

Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz was one of the legal advisers to Musk's plan to take Tesla private in 2018. Then Musk and Tesla each paid $20 million in civil penalties, and Musk resigned as chairman of Tesla to resolve the SEC claims.
