The ECB has issued a presentation on the digital euro

The European Central Bank has issued a fact sheet on the implementation of the digital euro.

"The Eurogroup believes that the implementation of the digital euro, as well as the choice of its design and basic functions, require political decisions. These must be discussed and approved at a political level," the statement said.

The bill should be drafted after the ECB's Governing Council examines the results of the new phase of the digital currency study.
