The first road bridge between Russia and China opened - Reuters

Yesterday in Blagoveshchensk opened freight traffic on the first road bridge over the Amur River, which connects the capital of Priamurye with the city of Heihe in China.

Trutnev: the opening of the automobile bridge to China is of great importance for the whole of Russia. The bridge "will pay for itself". It reduces the road for 300 kilometers, respectively, transportation costs are reduced, and a significant number of people can use the bridge.

The construction cost 19 billion rubles, of which 14 billion are investments on the Russian territory. The length of the bridge is 1,080 meters.
