U.S. Internal Revenue Service files $44 billion claim against FTX Group

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has filed 45 claims against FTX and its affiliates totaling about $44 billion.

The largest lawsuits are against Alameda Research LLC, for $20.4 billion and $7.9 billion, and $9.5 billion against Alameda Research Holdings Inc. The regulator accuses the company of failing to pay corporate and partnership income taxes.
