The US Financial Stability Board (FSB) has presented a roadmap for the regulation of stablocoins. It is aimed at finance ministers from G-20 countries and central bank representatives.

The agency plans to issue regulatory standards by July 2023. In September, they will begin joint discussions with the IMF and hear annual reports from other agencies. And in October, they will present an annual progress report on the cross-border payments roadmap.

According to the FSB, many of the stablocoins "do not comply with high-level recommendations" or additional guidance from the CPMI and IOSCO.
