Monthly demand in April fell to below pre-pandemic levels, 97% of the 2019 level. This happened against the background of lower consumption in several Asian countries.

It also became known that oil exports from Saudi Arabia rose to 7.38 million bpd in April from 7.235 million bpd in March.
