Anonymous hackers destroyed Rosaviation data

Data of Russian Federal Air Transport Agency was destroyed as the result of cyber-attack on its infrastructure. All documents, files, aircraft registration data and mail were deleted from servers. A total of about 65 terabytes of data was wiped.

Authorities are looking for a backup. The Aviation Herald writes that there is no backup copy of this data - the Russian Ministry of Finance has not allocated funds for it.
