Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has declared an increase in supporters of independence after Elizabeth Truss came to power.

Sturgeon has a personal dislike for Liz Truss. She noted that the economic policies of the new Prime Minister could lead to the collapse of the country's economy.

She added that if independence was declared, Scotland would have to support Britain's financial system for some time before there would be a "period of prosperity.
